The Hidden Architecture of the Cosmos: The TYCHOS 101

The Tychos explores an alternative model for understanding the cosmos and our relationship with it.

At the heart of the course is the Tychos Model— introduced alongside three different models of the cosmos — and the implications that emerge when we begin to view celestial relationships through this lens.

Across the The Quadrivium of the Tychos 101; Math, Music, Astrology and Sacred Geometry, we explore binary stars, the masculine and feminine principles, multiple moons, planetary resonance, the paths of the seven spheres, the distinctive relationships between Mars, Venus and Mercury, retrogrades, personal evolution, and ultimately the Great Year and Earth's evolutionary cycle.

The purpose of the course is to give you a general understanding of this model and allow you to explore the larger pattern that connects these ideas.

No. The course is designed to provide a general understanding of the Tychos from an astrological perspective, so you don't need to be a professional astrologer to engage with the material.

Some familiarity with astrology and planetary symbolism may help you make connections more quickly, but the central concepts of the Tychos as it is related to math, music, astrology, sacred geometry are developed progressively throughout the ten modules.

More experienced astrologers and those familiar with alchemy, gnosis, hermetic thought and may also find that the course invites them to reconsider familiar astrological concepts from a different perspective.

No. The course invites you to explore a different cosmological framework and consider what happens when familiar astrological ideas are viewed through it.

You don't need to discard the astrology you already know.

Instead, you can compare the Tychos Model with your existing understanding, examine the relationships and patterns presented throughout the course, and decide for yourself how those ideas inform your astrological practice.

By the end of the course, you should have a general understanding of the Tychos Model as a whole from the perspective of the The Quadrivium Math, Music, Astrology and Sacred Geometry. 

The ultimate aim is to enable you to recognise the larger pattern connecting these ideas — and to give you a new framework through which to contemplate astrology, planetary relationships and our place within the greater cosmic cycle.

The Tychos Model explored in this course is not part of the current mainstream scientific consensus in astronomy or in astrology or cosmology. It draws upon the TYCHOS model, an alternative astronomical model that challenges all aspects of the conventional understanding of our solar system and proposes a different way of considering its celestial motions.

The approach is for a very good reason. It seeks to reintegrate science and spirit, challenging the current scientific paradigm as being superior. Instead, it integrates other ways of knowing. In fact, it was born out of pilgrimage, experience with the night sky, interaction with ancient sites and symbols and countless nudges and whispers from spirit.  

While ideas of this kind remain outside mainstream astronomy, they raise an important question. Do we need to change our paradigm? In The Quadrivium of the Tychos 101; Math, Music, Astrology and Sacred Geometry , we explore the TYCHOS through an astrological, historical and symbolic lens.

This is where the journey becomes particularly interesting.

The Binary Star Astrology Model can provide a framework for looking back through time and reconsidering mythology, astrological symbolism and spiritual practices from the medieval and ancient worlds. Patterns and symbols that can appear mysterious or disconnected when viewed solely through a modern cosmological framework can be reconsidered from a different perspective.

The course therefore moves between astronomy, astrology, mythology, symbolism and spiritual history with a key uninteresting question... have we stumbled upon lost knowledge? 

You are encouraged to approach the material in the same spirit in which the course is presented: with curiosity, discernment and a willingness to question. You don't need to accept the Tychos as scientific fact in order to explore the extraordinary historical, symbolic and astrological possibilities that emerge when we look at the heavens through a different model.
