Why I love the Tychos Model And How it Shifted My Astrology!

Before I get into this topic, I wanted to share that I was recently on The Sacred Travel Podcast speaking about the special alignments in 2025 related to sacred sites… It’s an episode you don’t want to miss… especially if you like astrology… and travel!

You can find the episode here:

Most of you know by now that I have changed my cosmological model for my astrology. Many of you might be wondering ‘Has she become a flat earther’? And…. If this model she speaks of is correct, why haven’t we been told? Why haven’t the scientists and the large space organizations that send probes into the universe found this information? Why haven’t they seen it with their massive telescopes and shared? If the Tychos system is correct how could they not know? And if they do know, why haven’t they told us?

To answer the Flat Earth question… NO the Tychos model is not a flat earth theory. The Earth does move! The Tychos model is a model that proves that the Sun, like 100% of all nearby stars and 85% of distant ones, is in a binary star relationship. It’s like the Sirius star system; Sirius A and Sirius B. are stars that move, and they do so in overlapping orbits.

Now, many people agree that we are in a binary star system and that the most likely companion to our star is Sirius. But Sirius is already in a relationship! Sirius A and Sirius B are already in a dance. In fact, Simon demonstrates that just like Sirius A and B, our Sun and Mars are in a similar dance. Amazingly the Sun and Mars are proportionally in the same ratio relationship with each other as Sirius A and B and Simon suggests that we are likely in a double binary star relationship with the Sirius star system. Our system mirrors theirs… It’s been proposed that there is a Sirius C which is too close to the Sirius A system for our telescopes to decipher! If that is so, then Earth is the equivalent of Sirius C!

As Simon says, why would our Sun be the only unmoving, lonely single star in all of the universe? The truthful answer is… it’s not!

But if this is so, why wouldn’t we know? It is hard to believe that scientists and large space centres around the world would be wrong about our solar system. It’s hard to believe that if they knew it was different, they wouldn’t tell us. But they are wrong and you have to wonder if it’s intentional. You have to wonder if it is what Plato called a “Noble Lie”.

In Plato’s The Republic, a noble lie is a myth or a lie knowingly propagated by an elite to maintain social harmony… Some would also say social and spiritual control. This is an argument that is well laid out in Stephanie McPeak Peterson’s book The Next Octave; A Sustainable Economy Encoded in Music. In it she demonstrates how our society has been mistuned, starting with Plato’s noble lie designed to temper/mistune music. We all know that Plato borrowed from Pythagoras’s music of the spheres (the planets) and in his creation myth he uses music ratios to describe their creation. Johannes Kepler was also obsessed with the musical harmony of the planets and unfortunately, his ideas led to the mistuning of our solar system. Kepler’s Noble Lie about the Copernicus system is one we still live within!

The reason that I am so excited by the Tychos model is it not only does it explain the truth of our solar system, but it also reconnects us to the path of the stars. The path of our soul’s growth. Many of the truths that are revealed in the Tychos, align with what Rudolf Steiner taught in Man — Hieroglyph of the Universe GA 201. I would like to form a study group on Steiner’s lecture concerning the Tychos Model at some point as his ideas are much more easily understood in conjunction with the Tychos. Steiner often shared that our current understanding of the solar system; the Copernicus system, was not correct.

Since Copernicus, however, man has maya around him not only in his material perceptions but his concepts and ideas are themselves maya. Men take it for granted nowadays that the sun is firmly fixed in the middle and the planets revolve around it in ellipses. In the near future, however, it will be realised that the view of the world of the stars held by Copernicus is much less correct than the earlier Ptolemaic view. The view of the world held by the school of Copernicus and Kepler is very convenient, but as an explanation of the macrocosm it is not the truth.1 Rudolf Steiner - 1918

As an astrologer, we are always working with the planets from a geocentric (as if the earth didn’t move) perspective, and so from an astrology point of view, not much changes in terms of interpretation of the planets and their cycles. But here is my top 3 of what does change:

  1. The planetary path of our soul growth. Putting the planets in the correct order helps us to understand a spiritual path via the planets. It’s that simple. It’s like we’ve corrected our map and now find the right landmarks and take the correct turns!
  2. What also changes is a full understanding of the Great Year. The great year is the Earth’s cycle. I will do a post on this at some time in the future, but we (earth) move at a snail’s pace and make a full orbit in 24,344 years! And according to the Tychos, we entered the Age of Aquarius in 2012!
  3. The Sun and Mars are partners (Ego and Drive) and the Moon, which includes Venus and Mercury and Earth’s moons gives us the ability to unite them positively and consciously! Venus and Mercury have moon cycles and in my next post as Venus nears her retrograde cycle, I will share about this moon cycle!

Those are my top three reasons for switching to the Tychos. Please check out the free book and donate or buy the hardcover if you have the means!2
